About Me

As you can see my name is Terri. I am married to an old guy named Larry and have been for 41 years. We have 3 grown children who have supplied us with 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. As you can probably tell most of the things I have made are for the grandchildren. My first table runner went to my youngest daughter. She said,"oh ! I like this" and it was in her bag before I knew what was happening. Larry is a bass fisherman and I would say 3 of the 5 grandsons follow after him. Ryan (11 yrs), Chris (8 yrs) and Zander (3 yrs) are all fishermen..Ryan can drive either of the boats,( Bass boat or Pontoon). Zander loves to drive the pontoon boat. Chris is not here that often but when he does come Grandpa lets him drive also..The older 2 boys are Tim (20 yrs) and Matt (19 Yrs), they both graduated high school and are working so they have not been up here yet.Katie (10 yrs old) is our only Granddaughter. She is our Irish girl. Katie loves Irish music and Irish food. She also loves sewing. When Chris and Katie come up, the boys go fishing and Katie and I go shopping. She wants to learn to sew really bad so I try to show her what I can.

Today is a dreary day. It has been raining on and off all morning but now the sun is trying to come out. I have finished my latest project which is another tablerunner for my daughter Helen. She requested all blue and I sure did aim to please. Besides its my favorite color also.. Larry still has his brace on his wrist for another month..Dr. said bone is healing slowly because of his diabetes..sigh.
He might also get the go ahead for his hearing aides which he need desperately. The old ones are trash. He lost his hearing due to his Stupid partner at work deciding that she would clean her gun in the office. Thank Heaven he got up and moved cause her gun went off and the bullet hit right where he had been sitting..That was the cause of his hearing loss. We have been dealing with the Government to get him New hearing aides for almost 5 months now..They are supposed to replace them whenever he needs them..His last ones were 10 years ago. The Dr. called today and said he got a fax from them saying everything should be wrapped up by Wednesday..Yea Right!!! This is "seeing is believing" sorta thing.

Well enough about that....I hope you like my new tablerunner and hope you all have a special day.
