About Me

As you can see my name is Terri. I am married to an old guy named Larry and have been for 41 years. We have 3 grown children who have supplied us with 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. As you can probably tell most of the things I have made are for the grandchildren. My first table runner went to my youngest daughter. She said,"oh ! I like this" and it was in her bag before I knew what was happening. Larry is a bass fisherman and I would say 3 of the 5 grandsons follow after him. Ryan (11 yrs), Chris (8 yrs) and Zander (3 yrs) are all fishermen..Ryan can drive either of the boats,( Bass boat or Pontoon). Zander loves to drive the pontoon boat. Chris is not here that often but when he does come Grandpa lets him drive also..The older 2 boys are Tim (20 yrs) and Matt (19 Yrs), they both graduated high school and are working so they have not been up here yet.Katie (10 yrs old) is our only Granddaughter. She is our Irish girl. Katie loves Irish music and Irish food. She also loves sewing. When Chris and Katie come up, the boys go fishing and Katie and I go shopping. She wants to learn to sew really bad so I try to show her what I can.

OH OH OH I forgot to add the picture of the quilt that atarted all of this quilting for me..It's the "Summer Porch" by Eleanor Burns. it almost made its way to the trash. I hated it cause I did not like the way it came out and no matter what I tried I could not get it quilted right. So I put it on a shelf in the sewing room and closed the door...If it had not been for Fran it would have made its away to the trash. She told me to send it to her and she would quilt it for me.. It is now dispayed in the living room and when Helen and her husband were here last weekend, Mike used it while he was napping in the recliner...
